Agusto & Co affirms the AA(IM) rating assigned to Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited (‘the Manager’). The rating reflects the Manager’s clearly defined investment process with adequate segregation of duties and multi-layered approval and authorisations for investments as well as a good track record in the asset management industry. The rating also takes into consideration the weak macroeconomic environment which has the potential to heighten business and investment risk.
