A record of 288 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed on Friday, bringing Nigeria’s total to 5,445.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said 179 of the cases were in Lagos, and 20 in Kaduna.

A total 1,320 people have been discharged after treatment but 171 have died.
